About Katie
Katie Plaunt is a local, born-and-raised, aspiring hobby farmer.
Katie has been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist, since 2004, after she obtained her Master of Science Applied, in Speech-Language Pathology, from McGill University. She has worked in a wide range of settings and with an array of clientele from adult stroke/rehabilitation, brain injury, degenerative and neurological diseases, swallowing disorders, aphasia, Autism, late talkers, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children.
Katie prides herself on utilizing a client-centered, functional, and multi-disciplinary approach to assessments and intervention and is excited to be part of such a fantastic team, at 360 Health.
When Katie’s not providing speech and language services, you may find her at the hockey rink (cheering on her son’s team), hiking on her property, tending to the animals in the barn, knitting, doing yoga, or cuddling up with her indoor cat, and dog.
