About Megan

Born and raised in the Kawartha Lakes, Megan is passionate about helping individuals better understand their health and supporting the body’s natural capacity for healing and adaptation. After completing her education away from home, she returned to the community she has always valued to begin her professional practice.

Megan holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Queen’s University, along with a Certificate in French for Professionals. She completed her osteopathic education at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, earning a Master of Practice Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Sciences (M. OMSc).
Her interest in osteopathy stems from a lifelong fascination with anatomy, biomechanics, and human performance. As a former competitive athlete who has participated in a wide range of sports, Megan developed an early appreciation for the relationship between structure, movement, injury, and recovery.

Megan was drawn to osteopathy because of its emphasis on the body’s inherent capacity for self-regulation and the importance of understanding how structure, motion, and function work together to support health. Her approach to care is rooted in osteopathic principles and focused on identifying the factors contributing to a patient’s symptoms while supporting long-term function and overall well-being.
She values a collaborative, patient-centered approach and works with individuals of all ages and activity levels, whether they are seeking care for acute injuries, chronic concerns, preventative maintenance, or general health optimization.

Outside of practice, Megan enjoys spending time with family, staying active through sports and outdoor recreation, and taking advantage of the natural beauty of the Kawartha Lakes region she is proud to call home.
